Family and Community Services
Banner Alzheimer's Institute (BAI) is setting a new standard of care for patients and families.
Our Family and Community Services team is comprised of nurses, social workers and outreach staff skilled in aging and dementia care. They, and the programs they offer, underscore our desire to bring hope and help to every patient and family member we touch.
Living with a progressively debilitating disease like Alzheimer's poses challenges and opportunities. Our intent is to assist both patients and families in finding success and joy in everyday living.
Our classes, events and support groups are designed to address the unique needs of both patients and families. These programs offer a variety of opportunities to get out and get involved.
General lectures provide the latest on Alzheimer's, research, caregiving and brain health. Clinic appointments with members of the Family and Community Services team enable patients and families to receive individualized education, focused problem-solving and planning.
