This presentation will provide an overview of how current research efforts are being directed toward preventing Alzheimer’s disease (AD). Attendees will learn about the basic biology of AD, the current state of clinical trials in AD, and how AD can be identified before memory and cognitive symptoms occur. The presentation will end by showing how AD will soon be diagnosed using biological markers which will lead to therapies that can prevent the onset of memory and thinking problems.
