You’ve been diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease, now what? Knowledge is powerand the more you know how to best manage your diagnosis, the better your quality of life can be.

Join us in a class series where you connect with a movement disorders specialist from Banner Sun Health Research Institute to educate and empower both individuals with Parkinson’s and the newly diagnosed. Each month topics will vary as we explore everything you need to know about this disease. This class on June 8th will focus on medications to treat Parkinson’s disease. Have you wondered why you’re taking Sinemet? What is a dopamine agonist? How are my medications helping my Parkinson’s? We will explore the medications used to treat Parkinson’s and how they work in the body. You will leave class with a better understanding of your medications, and medications that may be prescribed to you in the future.

Registration is free but required for each session you plan on attending to ensure you get the Zoom login access details prior to the scheduled date(s). While not required to attend the full series, it is encouraged you join us in each of the monthly topics. Check out the full series by visiting and search with the keyword “PDLER”.
